What To Know Before Your Adventure
Where do I Kayak and Paddle Board in Oakridge?
Oakridge is surrounded by beautiful lakes and rivers. The best places to Kayak and Paddle Board are Hills Creek Reservoir and Waldo lake. The shop is about a five to ten-minute drive from Hills Creek Reservoir and about a 40-minute drive to Waldo lake. We're always happy to give directions!

Transportation
If you don't have a truck or racks on your vehicle there's no need to worry! Our inflatable paddle boards break down into a large backpack and travel great in small cars. You can also call ahead and reserve a soft rack that's compatible with hard top paddle boards free of charge. Straps, bungee cords, and ratchet straps are provided!
Our Founder
My name is Ailah and I have grown up in Oakridge all my life. In the summer of 2019, I started Paddle Shack with the goal of recreation accessibility at 15 years old. Growing up I was very lucky to have a family that prioritized spending time outdoors and in nature. Being outdoors has created some of the most memorable and happy experiences of my life and helped shape me into who I am today. I’m proud to say that I have built a business that gives that same opportunity to people visiting my beautiful hometown, Oakridge.
